Happy Holidays.

I’m spending mine working and getting portfolio done. Horray :]

Anyways, I hope everyone has a place to be this weekend. I’ll be spending the days alone, but I do know that there are places I could be. Hope everyone else feels the same.

Make a place of peace and peace will dwell where you live.

I wish I could have a place like this to create good ideas.

it’s ok to lose your pride over someone you love, but never, NEVER, lose someone you love over your pride.

Hm.

steady-breathing:

originality clearly doesn’t exist anymore, fuck this.

It is very difficult to be “original” at this point. Especially with this day and age, with all the technology of being connected constantly to different photographers, designers, anyone that inspires us. They post things, show us things, open our eyes.

So yes, it is incredibly difficult to be completely original. In fact, I think it may be impossible.

But what our inspirations are so much better. The fact that we may draw from other’s creative thoughts and ideas but, from that, make something new that may, in turn, inspire others.

I am hair-brained right now.

Anyways, what i’m trying to say is….
Originality is great. It is something to strive for. To be a artistic icon is to be great. But we will always be inspired and drawn to things that surround us. And the things we surround ourselves with influences what we create and design. So yes, it is not solely OUR DESIGN. however, I am happy to say that I am inspired by others. if not, we are too full of ourselves and an artistic god. Everyone is inspired. It just happens. Welcome to the creative world.

EMBRACE IT.
